Miya Rahman Desai is the son of legendary binkar, Ustad Shamsuddin Faridi Desai.

As a Rudra Veena player, I am deeply connected to the rich cultural heritage of India.

The Rudra Veena, an ancient stringed instrument, is a symbol of traditional Indian music
and has been passed down through generations. Its unique sound and intricate playing
techniques require years of dedicated practice and mastery.

As a performer, I strive to honor the centuries-old tradition of this instrument while also
pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity in my compositions.

The Rudra Veena’s haunting melodies and intricate rhythms have the power to transport
